Clinical Nurse Instructor (RN) - Part Time

Summary Of Major Duties/Responsibilities

• Engage students with active learning in the lab or clinical setting.
• Aid and supervise students with patient assessment, medication administration, and care procedures.
• Lead practical skills lab assignments on campus and at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Create a clinical environment that fosters student academic growth and professional development.
• Evaluate students through the Practical Nursing Program’s evaluation processes.
• Submit final grades and other program-related materials in a timely manner.

• Requirements

  • Graduate from an approved school of professional nursing.
  • Current registration as a professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • Prior experience teaching in a Practical Nursing Program is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in nursing practice.

  Qualifications

  • Graduate from an approved school of professional nursing.
