About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care in a pediatric setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to develop and communicate individualized care plans is essential, along with evaluating patients' physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting cultural and personal values.

Responsibilities

• Promote healing environment through patient and family education and advocacy
• Participate in safety, quality improvement, and professional development activities
• Develop, implement, and document care plans with clear goals in collaboration with patients, families, and team members
• Assess patient needs holistically, addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, and cultural factors
• Work in a safety-sensitive capacity, maintaining constant alertness for safety

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree; Bachelor's preferred
• Licenses: Current RN license
• Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years of pediatric nursing experience preferred
