Clinical Nurse - Inpatient Psychiatry Full-Time Nights

Role: The Clinical Nurse provides evidence-based, patient-centered care, adhering to organizational ethics, policies, and standards. Responsibilities Develops individualized, culturally sensitive nursing care plans and advocates for patients' health, safety, and rights.Demonstrates clinical expertise through continuous learning, specialty certification, and sharing knowledge with team members.Participates in team decision-making, delegates interventions, and ensures safe, effective care delivery.Engages in community volunteer activities and fosters compassionate, respectful interactions with patients and families.Acts as a professional role model, actively participating in policy development, quality improvement, and professional organizations. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing program with a baccalaureate degree or higher.Current Illinois RN license and BLS certification.Strong communication, human relations, and analytical skills.Preferred: clinical experience and specialty certification. Key Duties: Provide comprehensive nursing care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor peers, participate in quality initiatives, and uphold professional standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
