$83,200.00 - $93,184.00 per year

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a compassionate and caring environment for patients, families, and colleagues through kindness and active listening
• Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests, and document care per policy and regulations
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' conditions
• Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered
• Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions
• Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses
• Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered
• Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients
• Direct and guide ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing

Requirements

• Access to sensitive information, including HIPAA Protected Health Information and other regulated data, with a "need-to-know" basis
• Ensure information use or disclosure does not exceed the minimum necessary for assigned duties
• Protect information from unauthorized access and modification per Albany Med Health System policies
