Responsibilities

• Applies nursing process and theories, as well as principles of psycho-social and physical sciences, in assessing, planning, diagnosing, implementing, evaluating, and modifying patient care.
• Strives for quality outcomes and innovative practice in accordance with the California Nursing Practice Act and the Hospital/departmental policies.
• Accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self (or others who are under her/his direction) and for the delivery of care consistent with the ANA Code of Ethics and the ANA Bill of Rights for Nursing.
• Provides care in a collaborative manner with other disciplines to ensure optimal, individualized patient care and outcomes.
• All aspects of the Clinical Nurse’s performance supports service excellence and a healing environment.

Requirements

Medium Work - Requires standing the majority of the shift with the ability to lift up to 35 lbs. frequently. Work involves sitting, kneeling, climbing and squatting.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• Experience: Must have recent clinical nursing experience in area of specialty (NICU).
• License/Certifications: Registered Nurse License - California Board of Registered Nursing; Basic Life Support - American Heart Association; Neonatal Resuscitation Program - American Academy of Pediatrics.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to communicate in English and to perform potentially complex speaking, reading, writing, and mathematics; Ability to organize, prioritize and delegate appropriately.
• Ages of Patients Served: This position will serve all age groups one year of age or greater.

Pay

Salary Range: $93.87 - $122.62 USD per hour.

Schedule

Night shift, 8 hours.
