The Clinical Nurse at El Camino Health is responsible for applying the nursing process and theories to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, evaluate, and modify patient care. Responsibilities
- Applies nursing theories and processes to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Ensures quality outcomes and innovative practices in accordance with the California Nursing Practice Act and hospital policies
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal, individualized patient care
- Supports service excellence and a healing environment through the provision of care
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Recent clinical nursing experience in emergency department setting
- Registered Nurse license from the California Board of Registered Nursing
- Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications from the American Heart Association
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and delegate tasks appropriately
- Knowledge of the ages of patients served (all age groups one year of age or older)

The salary range for this position is $93.87 - $122.62 USD per hour.
Schedule
This position is scheduled bi-weekly with 48 work hours per week, working a day shift of 12 hours.
