Clinical Nurse - Heart Center

Role Overview

This position involves providing direct patient care in a pediatric setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care while adhering to standards and promoting patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management and post-treatment needs.
• Participate in activities that ensure safety, quality, and compliance, while engaging in professional development.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team and families.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
• Maintain safety standards as this is a safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safe work practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Nursing diploma/associates degree with RN licensure.
• PREFERRED: Bachelor’s degree in nursing and less than 2 years of experience.
• Prior pediatric critical care experience is a plus.
