Clinical Nurse - Heart Center

About the Role

This position involves providing direct patient care in a pediatric setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within established standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.
• Promote safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while participating in professional development.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, spiritual, and population-specific factors.
• Maintain safety and alertness as this is a safety-sensitive role.

Requirements

• Licensed RN with a nursing diploma or associate’s degree; bachelor's degree preferred.
• No prior experience required, but less than 2 years of experience and pediatric critical care background are preferred.
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Schedule

Full-time role with rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
