Clinical Nurse - GYN Oncology

About the role

Provides direct patient care in a specialized 30-bed unit focused on female health issues, primarily GYN Oncology. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, emphasizing patient safety, education, and family-centered support. Collaborates within a multidisciplinary team to develop and communicate individualized care plans, addressing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.

Responsibilities

• Promote healing environment through patient and family education on illness management and post-treatment care.
• Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and professional development activities.
• Assess patient preferences, cultural, spiritual, and emotional needs to ensure comprehensive care.
• Utilize critical nursing skills for continuous evaluation and adjustment of care plans.

Qualifications & Skills

• BSN or ADN required; RN license necessary.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and professionalism.
