Position Overview

This clinical nurse role on a General Medicine unit involves providing comprehensive patient care in a diverse environment, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient- and family-centered care, including education on illness management, medication, and post-discharge needs.
• Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities while engaging in ongoing professional development.
• Develop and document individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team, patients, and families, ensuring effective communication across care transitions.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs, considering patient preferences and barriers to involvement.

Qualifications & Skills

Required: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree, RN license, no prior experience necessary.

Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and less than 2 years of experience.
