Clinical Nurse - Emergency Room (Days/Nights)

About the role

Provides direct patient care across all ages in a hospital setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs. Participates in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Develops and documents individualized care plans with collaborative input from patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, spiritual, and population-specific factors.
• Supports a safe and healing environment, ensuring effective communication across care continuum.
• The role is safety-sensitive, requiring alertness and safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree or Bachelor’s preferred.
• Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license.
• Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred.
