Clinical Nurse Educator - Unit Based - Days

About the role

This is a full-time, dual position that supports both clinical nursing education and direct patient care. As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will focus on staff development, coaching, mentoring, and maintaining clinical proficiency through bedside care and precepting. The RN component involves providing direct patient care and serving as a clinical resource on a Med-Surg/Overflow unit.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new staff and facilitate education on policies and equipment
• Lead unit safety and quality initiatives
• Foster a positive professional environment
• Maintain clinical proficiency through bedside care and precepting
• Act as a clinical resource for the Med-Surg/Overflow unit

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Nursing, with a Bachelor's in a health-related field (Master's preferred)
• Current Illinois Nursing Licensure
• At least five years of clinical experience
