Clinical Nurse Educator 3- Nursing Education- FT, Day Shift
About the role
The Ambulatory Nurse Educator is responsible for designing and implementing education programs and professional development for nurses in the Ambulatory setting. They work closely with department managers and Clinical Nurse Specialists to assess educational needs and develop orientation programs. The role ensures that competencies and skills are current and relevant for the nursing staff.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement education programs for Ambulatory nurses
- Lead orientation programs for new staff
- Ensure that competencies and skills are up-to-date and relevant
- Work closely with department managers and CNS on educational needs assessment
- Support practice development through education and professional development
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years recent nursing experience in an Ambulatory Setting
- Knowledge of Title 22 and Joint Commission Requirements
- Demonstrated teaching/education/in-service skills with the ability to lead effectively
- Computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office Products, including Word & Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in adult education
- Master of Science in Nursing
