Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) role involves:

  • Assisting with admission and discharge processes
  • Ongoing assessment of patient care services
  • Collaboration with subject matter experts and managers
  • Supporting a patient-first philosophy and service recovery
  • Operationalizing nursing strategies
  • Staff scheduling and labor management
  • Inventory control and supply management
  • Recommendations for interviewing, selecting, and training new staff
  • Implementing courses of action related to personnel policy compliance, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions
  • Providing recommendations related to labor management

Qualifications for the role include:

  • A degree in Nursing (Associate or Bachelor's)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
  • At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience in Trauma ICU
  • Charge/Relief/Nursing leadership experience
