Role Overview
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) Neuro Trauma ensures high-quality, patient-centered care in a specialized unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage patient admissions, discharges, and care coordination during shifts.
- Assess and improve the quality of nursing services collaboratively with management.
- Support a patient-first approach, staff training, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Serve as a resource and role model for nursing staff, promoting teamwork and clinical excellence.
- Participate in service recovery and engagement initiatives.
- Assist with staff hiring, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a diploma or bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of Neuro Trauma experience.
- Certifications including Basic Cardiac Life Support, NIH Stroke Scale, and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within specified timeframes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
