Role Overview
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) Neuro Trauma ensures high-quality, patient-centered care in a specialized unit.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all nursing functions during shifts, including admissions, discharges, and staff scheduling.
- Monitor and evaluate patient care quality in collaboration with management and staff.
- Support a patient-first philosophy, engage in service recovery, and foster teamwork to improve outcomes.
- Assist with staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
- Manage supplies, equipment, and inventory control to ensure operational efficiency.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives and support nursing strategies to enhance engagement.
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a diploma or bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of Neuro Trauma experience.
- Certifications: BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (obtained within specified timeframes).
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaborative skills.
