The Labor and Delivery Clinical Nurse Coordinator ensures high-quality, patient-centered care in the unit during their shift.
Responsibilities
- Assist with admissions and discharges
- Evaluate care quality
- Promote teamwork and support patient-first initiatives
- Participate in service recovery
- Assist with staff scheduling and training
- Manage supplies
- Contribute to staff development and personnel policies
- Collaborate with management
- Monitor nursing care
- Lead staffing efforts
- Support operational and quality improvement initiatives
- Serve as a resource for staff to enhance patient outcomes and departmental performance
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Associate degree in Nursing
- At least 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience
- Certifications: BLS, Neonatal Resuscitation, and STABLE
- Leadership experience (preferred)
