About the role

Behavioral Health RN providing care for patients with complex behavioral needs within a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team and families.
  • Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Educate patients and families on illness management, medication, and post-discharge care.
  • Respond to CPI events, review behavioral plans, and support escalation prevention.
  • Develop individualized care plans considering psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and patient preferences.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of behavioral health nursing experience; pediatric experience and CPI training preferred.
  • RN licensure required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, communication, and patient education skills.
  • Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and professionalism.

Schedule

Full-time role, rotating weekends and holidays, working three 12-hour day shifts.
