Responsibilities
- Allocated a client portfolio and have the opportunity to lead and inspire the frontline clinical team through the provision of guidance and mentorship.
- Effective decision making and clinical experience where you will provide exceptional care whilst responding to clinical nursing issues and concerns.
- Review Client Care And Care Plans Promoting Independence & Quality Of Life, Making a Real Difference To The Quality Of Care We Deliver.
- Development, implementation, monitoring and review of care plans
- Comprehensive and accurate assessment of residents
- Aiding with the orientation of new staff and ongoing professional development
- Support in ensuring the service meets all accreditation standards
Requirements
- An experienced clinician, with considerable experience within an acute or aged care environment.
- An advocate for person-centred care, leading by example through exceptional communication and customer service.
- Bachelor of Nursing, or equivalent qualification
- Current AHPRA registration
- Extensive general nursing experience and demonstrated skills reflective of clinical experience
- Ability to liaise with the care team and to provide co-ordinated care
- Confidence to manage conflict, pressures and competing priorities
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team with ability to provide leadership, support and mentorship to other team members
- Previous community nursing experience and knowledge in community funding is highly desirable
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Nursing, or equivalent qualification
- Current AHPRA registration
