About the Role
Provides direct patient care for children, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication. Ensures safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while participating in professional development. Develops and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team and families, ensuring effective communication across the care continuum. Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors. Maintains a safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safe work practices.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge needs.

Qualifications & Skills
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- RN licensure required.
- No prior experience necessary; less than 2 years preferred.
- Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills.
