About the Role

Provides direct patient care in a specialized surgical unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. Focuses on patient and family-centered care, education on post-treatment management, and medication administration. Develops individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, ensuring communication across the continuum of care. Utilizes critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, and spiritual values. Promotes safety and quality compliance while participating in professional development. This safety-sensitive role requires alertness and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree; BSN preferred
• Licenses: Valid RN license
• Experience: No minimum required; less than 2 years preferred
