Role Overview

This position involves providing direct pediatric patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and participation in safety, quality, and regulatory activities.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families on post-treatment care, medication, and injury management.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care settings.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe environment and participate in professional development activities.

Qualifications And Skills Required

• Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree and RN licensure.
• PREFERRED: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of pediatric nursing experience.
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and care.
