About the Role
Clinical Nurse (16400) in Kidney/Liver Transplant Surgery. Full-Time, Nights position with three 12-hour shifts per week. Open to both New Graduate Nurses and Experienced Registered Nurses. Sign-On Bonus up to $15,000.
Join a highly specialized surgical unit dedicated to caring for patients undergoing complex transplant and hepatobiliary procedures. As part of a nationally recognized transplant program performing more than 250 kidney transplants annually, you'll work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment alongside a collaborative team of experts in transplant medicine and surgery.

Responsibilities
- Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment
- Educates patients and their families on managing illness or injury, including post treatment home care needs and medication administration
- Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance

- Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team, patient, family, or caregiver according to established guidelines and standards of nursing care
- Proactively plans and ensures communication of the plan of care across the continuum of care
- Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care
- Assesses patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care, including their values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population-specific needs
