The State of New Hampshire, Department of Corrections, Division of Medical and Forensics has a full-time vacancy for Clinical Mental Health Counselor - LADC in Concord, NH.
Responsibilities
- Assesses psycho-social information
- Provides clinical programmed alcohol and substances abuse treatment to incarcerated inmates in a correctional setting
- Works in close and immediate contact with prisoners on a daily basis
- Responsible for security
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 1.5 years of experience OR equivalent combination of 5.5 years of education and experience after high school completion
- At least 1 year of graduate-level study in social work, mental health counseling, or a related field
- Valid driver's license
- Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) license (or obtainable within 6 months of hire)
- Must pass security and background screenings required for correctional environments
Pay
- Base salary: $34.14/hour – $46.63/hour
- Hazardous Duty Pay: $60 biweekly (paid in addition to base salary)
Schedule
8:00am – 4:00pm, with Saturday and Sunday off.
