Clinical Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technician - PRN

About the role

We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform and interpret routine and specialized laboratory tests to support diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specimens for testing.
• Conduct quality control and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments.
• Perform phlebotomy as required.
• Document and interpret test results accurately.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in medical or biological sciences.
• Current state license (if applicable).
• Certification such as ASCP, AMT, or AAB.
• Strong computer skills and analytical thinking.
• Effective communication and good judgment.
• Ability to lift, stand, and work with potentially hazardous materials.
• Adaptability to a flexible schedule and travel between facilities.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and safety.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborative approach to healthcare.
