Duties And Responsibilities
- Create a positive and motivating classroom atmosphere to maximize student engagement
- Instruct on the Clinical Medical Assistant curriculum in accordance with Job Corps requirements
- Counsel and motivate students regarding behavior, training, and personal development
- Develop supplemental lessons and recommend curricula changes to enhance learning outcomes
- Individualize the curriculum to fit students' vocational choices and maintain contact with counselors and instructors
- Prepare reports such as student/staff hours, requisitions, and monthly student evaluations
- Maintain a conducive classroom environment for learning
- Attend required staff training sessions and adhere to safety practices
Qualifications
- Certified, licensed, or accredited in the state in which the center is located, or accredited by a professional trade organization in Medical Assisting
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record preferred
- Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy
- Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid Certification

About Our Program
