Clinical Manager - Registered Nurse

About the role

The Clinical Manager oversees daily operations within a healthcare facility, ensuring quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and efficient clinical practices. They lead, coach, and develop staff, manage staffing models, and foster a productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead tactical execution of objectives, manage costs, methods, and staffing.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development for staff; oversee performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure clinical compliance with federal, state, and local laws, including ESRD regulations and quality standards.
• Coordinate patient care from admission to discharge, including education, scheduling, and communication with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support physician relationships, facilitate staff-physician communication, and participate in governing and CQI meetings.
• Manage facility maintenance, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
• Handle administrative duties such as manual updates, billing, inventory, payroll, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; RN license; relevant experience (6-8 years) including supervisory roles.
• Minimum 12 months of clinical nursing, with dialysis experience preferred.
• Leadership skills including communication, team building, results orientation, and decision-making.
• Ability to manage staff, ensure quality care, and maintain regulatory compliance.
