About the role

ACES is a rapidly growing company of autism services dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals and families impacted with autism or other special needs. We provide comprehensive, professional services to maximize individuals' potential in the home, school, and community, throughout their lifespan.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting our Elk Grove and Sacramento centers
  • Maintain a small to moderate caseload
  • Aid Clinical Director(s) with intervention on clinical cases to influence positive outcomes
  • Collaborate with the Program Manager on client cohort progress and communication to payor
  • Evaluate clinical quality of assigned cases by providing consultation and supervision and communicating with Behavioral Interventionists (BI’s) and parents/caregivers to get additional feedback and input regarding treatment prognosis
  • Regularly provide collaboration on cases that are not progressing in alignment with their treatment plan (e.g., facing significant barriers to progress)
  • Participate on cases that need advanced clinical consultation by working alongside the treatment team to modify treatment plans
  • Communicate with parents regarding any clinical concerns related to the client program
  • Attend IEP meetings (as approved by funding sources or as needed)
  • Monitor and provide input regarding outcome data, with support of the Director of Client Outcomes, in their region including but not limited to: Standardized assessment trends, Level of service recommendation trends, Length of time in treatment trends, Transition status trends

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently with only general supervision
  • Minimum Master’s Degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis psychology, education, social work or other related field; and BCBA certification or clinical license 3+ years (5+ years preferred) of clinical supervision experience as a BCBAPreferred
  • 5+ years’ experience working with clients with ASD or other special needs
  • 5+ years training and/or education related to ASD
  • Valid driver’s license and/or access to reliable transportation
  • Background check, tuberculosis test, LiveScan fingerprint and any other funding source required clearance
  • Comfortable working in home, community, school, clinic, and military base environments
  • Comfortable working in group settings and leading small groups of staff and clients
  • Strong desire to support and develop skills and abilities of staff
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, database software, project management software
  • Highly organized
  • Professional, positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force and lift/move up to 25 pounds
  • Sitting, kneeling, squatting, running, twisting and turning, reaching above shoulders and/or frequent physical transitions
