About the role
The Clinical Manager, Palliative reports to the AVP of Palliative Care and is responsible for coordinating and managing all day to day business affairs and other clinical activities related to the administration of the palliative division.
Responsibilities

- Participates in developing Department goals, objectives, systems, policies and procedures.
- Acts as a role model within and outside the Company.
- Performs duties as workload necessitates.
- Maintains a positive and respectful attitude.
- Communicates regularly with supervisor about Department issues.
- Demonstrates flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload.
- Consistently reports to work on time prepared to perform duties of position.
- Participates in administrative staff meetings, committees, and special projects, and seeks additional responsibilities.
- Recommends new approaches to effect on-going continual improvements to policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Complies with, and ensures compliance with, rules, regulations, and policies within all local, state, and federal governing agencies as well as Company policies and procedures.

Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with Home Health, Hospice and/or Palliative Care Experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Business Administration or related field; or equivalent experience and knowledge in Health Care Operations required.
- Master’s degree in business or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years health care administration/operations management required.
- Certified in Hospice and Palliative Care - preferred.
