Clinical Manager Cardiac Rehab Jefferson Stratford
About the role
The Manager Cardiac Rehabilitation is directly responsible and accountable for planning, organizing, coordinating, and evaluating the management and clinical practice activities for Cardiac Rehabilitation. Provides direct care to clients from adolescent through late adulthood.
Responsibilities
- Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
- Maintains standards of the Patient Satisfaction Initiative Criteria.
- Makes Jefferson Health the hospital of choice for Patients and Employees.
- Makes sure Phase II Cardiac Rehabilitation participants are supervised in the daily exercise session to ensure a safe and professional environment.
- Promotes and provides leadership and education for the Cardiac Rehabilitation staff to improve quality assurance activities, effective program operations, employee development, and an efficient, effective functioning department and staff.
- Develops and participates in the clinical teaching activities for the members of all phases of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program to provide for the educational components of the client’s care.
- Ensures the clinical and operational structure provides a quality program for the participants.
- Facilitates continuity of care from the hospital setting throughout the outpatient arena to provide efficient and effective integration and coordination of all phases of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or Related field.
- Master’s Degree in Nursing or Related field from an accredited program preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of clinical cardiac rehab experience, including 1+ years’ Critical Care/Telemetry experience required.
- Minimum 2+ years’ demonstrated teaching/managerial experience preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or Related field in the applicable U.S. state(s) of practice preferred.
- ACLS certification from American Heart Association required.
Qualifications

Benefits
The actual hiring rate will be determined based on candidate experience, skills and qualifications. This position is not eligible for an annual incentive. Positions posted as annual salaries reflect an estimated amount for a 1.0 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) (i.e. 40 hour equivalent)), positions for less than 1.0 FTE will be prorated.)
