About the Role

Develop and deliver curriculum, teach advanced clinical skills within the Washington Medical Assistant-Certified scope of practice, and coach staff toward successful program completion. The ideal candidate is an organized, engaging communicator who is passionate about learning, skilled in adult education, and comfortable collaborating across teams and clinic locations to strengthen Medical Assistant competency and patient care.

Location: Evergreen Administration Building (13898 NE 28th Street, Vancouver, WA 98682).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver curriculum for Medical Assistant training programs.
  • Teach advanced clinical skills within the Washington Medical Assistant-Certified scope of practice.
  • Coach staff toward successful program completion.
  • Collaborate across teams and clinic locations to strengthen Medical Assistant competency and patient care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
  • Current active Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified credential.
  • Minimum two years of experience as a Medical Assistant-Certified, preferably in an outpatient primary care setting.
  • Previous teaching, training, facilitation, or instructional experience in a healthcare setting within the last 2 years.
  • Experience with Epic preferred.
  • Experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.
  • Experience developing curriculum and delivering training in a healthcare setting preferred.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Pay

Hiring range: $28.02/hour–$33.58/hour. Placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience. Full pay range: $27.47–$38.46/hour.

Eligibility for benefits begins on the first of the month following one month of employment. Compensation packages and time off programs vary based on factors such as department, position type, primary work state, and FTE.
