Clinical Liaison (RN / RT)

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Respiratory Therapist (RRT) License (other designations like LPN, PT, OT, etc., upon further review)
• Ability to complete clinical assessments of medically complex patients

Responsibilities

• Advocate for referred patients in the pre-admission process by collaborating with clinical teams to assess patient needs
• Serve as a resource for healthcare professionals through fostering relationships within medical facilities
• Coordinate care plans with physicians and families
• Facilitate patient transfers and address barriers to accessing specialized post-ICU care

Full-time

• Monday-Friday 8-5 PM

Pay

• Competitive Salary ($70,000 - $90,000 depending on experience)
• Plus uncapped monthly bonus incentives

Key Responsibilities

• Work with physicians, discharge planners, and patients' families to plan the best continuum of care after an ICU or post-surgical stay by utilizing your strong clinical background, payer knowledge, and problem-solving skills.
• Perform clinical assessments of referred patients, then counsel with patients' families to assist them in making the best care decisions for their loved one.
• Partner with hospital case managers and physicians to create a smooth pre-admission and transfer process through removing payer-related and operational barriers for patients getting into our highly effective level of care.

Required Skills

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Respiratory Therapist (RRT) License (other designations like LPN, PT, OT, etc., upon further review).
• Ability to complete clinical assessments of medically complex patients.

Preferred Skills

• Demonstrated success in patient advocacy.
• Superior communication and relationship-building skills.
• Prior healthcare marketing or business development experience is preferred, but extensive training is provided on this piece.
