About the role
The Clinical Lead will support children and adolescents with neurological conditions across 6 Health Board areas in the North of Scotland region. They will work with multi-disciplinary teams and local medical, nursing, and allied health professionals to provide inpatient services, outpatient clinics, investigations, and treatments.
Responsibilities
- Work across traditional Health Board boundaries and organizations to progress NeSCANN services in the North of Scotland region.
- Ensure services are equitable and accessible for paediatric patients.
- Motivate, inspire, and drive improvements in service provision through change management within a complex regional environment.
Requirements
- Extensive clinical knowledge, skills, and experience in the provision of neurological care.
- Leadership skills required to motivate and inspire.
Qualifications
- Senior level clinical professional currently operating within the NHS in the North of Scotland.
Skills
- Ability to work across traditional Health Board boundaries and organizations.
- Experience in providing neurological care to children and adolescents.
- Strong leadership and change management skills.
Benefits
- Appointment until end of March 2027, with review thereafter.
- Commitment of 1 Part-time Annual Leave (PA) or 4 hours per week.
