Lead Ambulatory Neuro RN

Essential Functions

• Cook up daily operations of the assigned unit.
• Routinely perform day-to-day staff-level duties as needed.
• Oversee clinical office functions, including daily quality control.
• Communicate and collaborate with staff and customers to ensure excellent patient care and service delivery.
• Serve as a resource to patients, staff, and providers in the Manager/Practice Leader’s absence.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Provide input into departmental goals, hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Maintain supplies, document charges/services, and oversee scheduling.
• Aid in developing education programs and opportunities for staff growth.
• Oversee acquisition and maintenance of office equipment.
• Aid with payroll input and corrections.
• Commit to continual learning and professional development.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school and program.
• Average Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• In Grand Rapids: ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete within 4 years.
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Michigan.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.
• New grads should apply to RN Residency (offered February, July, and October).
• Specialty credentialing preferred according to clinical nursing practice area.
