About the Role
The Clinical Lead has overall responsibility for the clinical and administrative functioning of the assigned unit, ensuring all patient services are delivered efficiently and effectively. This role oversees staffing, supervision, and program operations to meet regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assure programs meet all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Lead the team in maintaining a program schedule that meets patient needs and is followed daily.
- Organize and participate in a system to evaluate the quality of patient care.
- Oversee daily interdisciplinary team meetings and ensure communication is disseminated to all unit staff.
- Work with the Clinical Director to define and implement program goals, integrating them into the organization’s performance improvement process.
- Ensure the delivery of all patient services.
- Participate in hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating program staff.
- Evaluate staffing needs and collaborate with nurse managers to ensure adequate staffing for acuity and programming.
- Provide clinical leadership through participation in various Eagleville Hospital committees.
- Act as a liaison with payors, referral sources, and families as needed.
- Ensure the integrity of patient records, including timely notes and comprehensive treatment plans that meet quality standards.
- Work in tandem with both AIP units to ensure consistent systems and practices.
- Comply with hospital safety and infection control policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Directly supervise Therapists, Social Workers, and Counselors.
- Conduct monthly documented supervision with each direct report.
- Monitor staff productivity, paperwork, and training, providing written improvement plans as necessary.
- Complete annual staff evaluations and training plans.
