Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Microbiology - PRN

Role: Laboratory Technologist Responsibilities: Evaluate specimen acceptability, perform routine and complex testing per SOPs, operate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation, make technical decisions, prepare and evaluate reagents, report accurate test results, maintain quality control, perform preventative maintenance, manage supplies, assist with specimen processing, and ensure safety protocols. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology, and Microbiology MT FL State License. Preferred: 3+ months clinical testing experience, ASCP or AMT certification. Skills & Standards: Knowledge of lab operations and policies, experience in high-volume labs, independent and team work abilities, computer proficiency, attention to detail, strong communication, physical capability, color vision, and flexibility for shifts and overtime.
