Clinical Laboratory Supervisor - Flow Cytometry Dry Lab

Responsibilities

• Ensures adequate performance of all laboratory procedures
• Performs high complexity clinical tests
• Presents data and information across all levels
• Develops and maintains detailed laboratory procedures manual
• Maintains QC programs for the department
• Selects, retains, and trains qualified laboratory personnel
• Prepares employees reviews, time and attendance records, and maintains training files
• Assists in establishing budgetary controls and preparing reports

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field
• Subsequent to graduation, at least four years of pertinent laboratory experience (two years in a clinical setting)
• Completion of a course of at least one year in a clinical laboratory setting
• At least six years of pertinent clinical laboratory experience (two years in a clinical setting)
• At least three years of successful experience in a supervisor or leadership capacity
• Nationally: ASCP certification for the assigned specialty
• State licenses: ASCP certification for the assigned specialty, FL, CA, TN supervisor level licenses
