About the role
Role Overview: As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist I, you will perform essential diagnostic testing and quality control procedures supporting accurate and timely patient results. This role includes moderate-to-high-complexity testing, maintaining laboratory systems and equipment, prepping reagents, and contributing to a smooth, efficient laboratory workflow.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic testing and quality control procedures
- Prepare reagents and accurately report laboratory results
- Review and oversee moderate-to-high-complexity testing
- Maintain equipment, instruments, and supply inventory
- Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards
- Work collaboratively within the laboratory and across clinical teams
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Education: Required - Associate’s degree in Medical Technology or related scientific field
- Education: Preferred - Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific field
- Certification & Licensure: Required - State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License
- Experience: Required - Minimum of four (4) months of Clinical laboratory experience
