Clinical Laboratory Scientist - ED Stat Lab

About the role

Performs a variety of standardized tests and procedures in conjunction with associated clerical and quality assurance functions. Works with minimal supervision and may be involved with coordination of workflow, in-service, and orientation.

Responsibilities

• Works with minimal supervision and may be involved with coordination of workflow, in-service, and orientation.
• Maintains compliance with CLIA criteria for General Supervisor and Testing Personnel.
• May require flexibility of hours.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor Degree required.
• Experience/Training: Must have experience as required by the particular position, including personnel requirements defined by CLIA.
• Licenses/Certifications: Cost Centers 750100 and 754000: Current Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) License issued by California Department of Public Health (CDPH); Cost Center 750200: Current Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) License or current Clinical Microbiologist Scientist (CMS) License issued by California Department of Public Health (CDPH).

Pay

The estimated base rate for this position is $52.08 - $79.42. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc.
