About the Role

As a Clinical Laboratory Director or similar role, you will lead a team in a hospital-based clinical laboratory or reference laboratory setting. You will manage laboratory procedures, equipment, quality assurance, and health and safety guidelines. Your responsibilities will include leading a team, managing operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage laboratory procedures and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance and health and safety guidelines
  • Lead a team in a hospital-based clinical laboratory or reference laboratory setting
  • Manage operations and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Provide oversight for laboratory staff and ensure adherence to policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements

  • Advanced Degree MD or PhD or alternative route to obtaining a NYSDOH Certificate of Qualification
  • New York State Certificate of Qualification for Laboratory Directorship
  • Board Certification preferred
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a hospital-based clinical laboratory or reference laboratory

Pay

The base pay scale for this position is $61.54 - $93.89. Additional benefits are available and will be determined based on various factors including scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation.

Schedule

The work shift is Day (United States of America).
