Clinical Lab Technologist - Contract

Role Overview: This position involves performing laboratory analyses to support healthcare providers in diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining sophisticated instrumentation, troubleshooting assays, evaluating test accuracy, interpreting results, and supporting lab operations to optimize testing capabilities. The role requires working with multiple computer systems, adhering to safety protocols, and may include specimen collection with minimal supervision. Qualifications & Skills: Candidates must currently work as a Contractor in the Clinical Mass Spec Lab with a Bachelor's degree in chemistry or biological sciences. Experience with lab instrumentation and assay systems is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate accuracy under time constraints, multitasking skills, good communication, and flexibility for scheduling, including off-shift and weekend work. Key Duties: Perform analytical testing, troubleshoot equipment, evaluate and interpret results, support laboratory operations, and ensure safety standards are maintained. Must complete a two-year tenure before eligibility for internal transfer.
