Clinical Lab Scientist - WCMC Clinical Laboratory Services - Per Diem - 8 Hour - Variable Shift

About the role

Performs and demonstrates competency, proficiency and understanding of the test procedures in the Clinical Laboratory up to and including high complexity testing.

Education

• Bachelor of Science Biology, Biochemistry or Chemistry, Medical Laboratory Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science, or Microbiology - Required
• If no B.S Degree in the above areas, must have a Bachelor's Degree with specific completed course requirements outlined below:
  • 16 semester or equivalent quarter units of chemistry, which must include clinical chemistry or analytical and biochemistry
  • 18 semester or equivalent quarter units of biology, which must include hematology, immunology, and medical microbiology
  • 3 semester or equivalent quarter units of physics (light and electricity)

Certifications/Licensures

• CLS Clinical Lab Scientist (MTA) - California Department of Public Health - Laboratory Field Service - Required
• Clinical Microbiologist Scientist - California Department of Public Health - Laboratory Field Service - Required

Pay

$65.04 - $87.78 Hourly

Schedule

Work Shift: 08.0 Per Diem No Waive. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40.
