Responsibilities

• Performing routine laboratory tests
• Operating and maintaining test equipment
• Training of non-laboratory testing personnel
• Recognizing and responding to problems
• Verifying and reporting test results
• Supporting the routine operation of the laboratory

Requirements

• Valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license or limited license appropriate for the area of responsibility
• Baccalaureate Degree in a biological science, chemistry, medical technology, or related science
• One year of clinical laboratory experience in any clinical lab area is acceptable, two years, preferred
