Overview
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Lab Scientist to join a well-known client’s team in Tucson, AZ. This role supports clinical and medical research efforts by performing laboratory testing, analyzing data, and contributing to study execution in a regulated clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Support and contribute to clinical and medical research studies, including sample processing and laboratory analysis.
- Perform laboratory techniques such as histology and immunohistochemistry (IHC) as applicable.
- Analyze clinical data and contribute to study findings and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with clinical research regulations, SOPs, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with clinical, laboratory, and research teams to support study objectives.
- Maintain accurate and complete laboratory records and documentation.
- Auxiliary in preparation of data for presentations, reports, and potential publications.
- Support development efforts for new drugs, therapies, or diagnostic approaches.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory or research setting.
- Experience with histology and/or immunohistochemistry (IHC) preferred.
- Exposure to clinical trials or clinical research is a plus.
- Understanding of laboratory best practices and regulated environments.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field required.

- Histotechnologist certification (HT or HTL).
