Clinical Lab Associate I
Duties And Responsibilities
- Unpacks and reviews initial sample quality and requirements.
- Handles specimens from receipt through order creation and accessioning, ensuring chain of custody.
- Accurately assigns samples to appropriate workstreams.
- Adheres to department procedures.
- Participates in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and special projects.
- Builds and maintains effective relationships with other laboratory employees.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- (Preferred) Bachelor’s Degree.
- Relevant experience in a similar work environment.
- Highly organized and systematic, with superb attention to detail and accuracy.
- Initiative and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Quickly learns new skills and adapts to new processes.
- Computer proficiency with knowledge of standard software and general familiarity with office equipment and technology.
Pay
$20.25 per hour, applicable if the role is performed from Illinois. Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience.
