About the role

JRI’s Community Based Services division provides care to ensure that families and their children with significant behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs obtain the services necessary for success in the home, school, and community. In our TAP program of Cape Cod, we work in a therapeutic after-school programs dedicated to enhancing the social skills of children ages 6-12 with complex emotional and behavioral needs who have been unable to succeed in non-therapeutic community-program settings.

Responsibilities

  • Support the mission of enhancing the social skills of children with complex emotional and behavioral needs through a therapeutic after-school program.
  • Utilize strength-based and needs-driven choices in providing services to children and families.
  • Collaborate with the people we work with in a team-based approach grounded in individualized services and evidence-based practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum working towards a Master’s degree or above in the mental health field (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC or LMFT).
  • Clinical interest in working with children/adolescents.
  • Familiarity with trauma informed models of treatment preferred.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Background and driving record checks will be performed.
