As a Part Time Clinical Injury Prevention Specialist, Athletic Trainer, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Round Lake, IL. This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus! Additional details will be shared during the interview process. Schedule This is a 20-hour-per-week, onsite position with flexibility in how the hours are structured, with the option to work 3–5 days per week. The selected schedule will be consistent from week to week and agreed upon in advance. To support employees across shifts, the schedule should include at least one shift per week with evening availability. Employee shift changes occur at approximately 5:00 AM and 5:00 PM, and scheduling that provides some consistent overlap between shifts is preferred when possible. What You’ll Do Develop and implement early intervention program consisting of performing comprehensive musculoskeletal examination, providing first aid per OSHA standards and education on injury preventionPerform physical demand and ergonomic assessments to identify high-risk tasks and recommend preventive strategiesLead group and individual training on functional movement, job simulation, and injury prevention programsCollaborate with on-site medical and safety teams to coordinate care and recommend workplace countermeasuresDocument assessments, recommendations, and outcomes in a timely and accurate mannerMaintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date recordParticipate in meetings and task forcesOther duties as assigned What You’ll Bring Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited professional Athletic Training education programCurrent BOC Certified Athletic TrainerCurrent certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of servicesCertification in specialty areas (Ergonomic Specialty) preferred Experience in Occupational Health and Safety; Knowledge of current OSHA regulations preferredExperience in Ergonomics preferred Work-life balance is at the foundation of how decisions are made and where Premise is headed.
