Visa Information

TTUHSC may initiate new H-1B I-129 visa petitions at its sole discretion, subject to approval from the Texas Workforce Commission. On a limited, case-by-case basis, the institution may sponsor eligible individuals for change-of-status or change-of-employer petitions for qualifying positions. TTUHSC will not pay the $100,000 fee, if applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand their needs and opportunities to improve efficiencies within the EMR.
  • Develop plans and trainings for end users utilizing data analytics.
  • Partner with the EMR team to create best practice workflows for staff.
  • Act as a liaison between clinical staff, leadership, and the EMR team.
  • Review patient data to make medical workflows safer and more efficient.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems reported by clinical team members.
  • Analyze clinical and operational data to improve documentation quality and patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree and 4 years of experience in medical/electronic medical records; or a combination of education and experience totaling eight (8) years.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with EMR systems, specifically Epic systems.
  • Experience in healthcare.
  • Knowledge of revenue cycle software.
  • Knowledge of various clinical and professional software.

Pay

Pay Grade Minimum: $50,228.00 per year
Pay Grade Maximum: $80,000.00 per year
