Clinical Informatics Analyst Nurse LPN

Job Summary

The onsite Clinical Informatics Analyst Nurse LPN at Southern TN Regional Health System - Pulaski supports the care provided in their facilities, working collaboratively with the Chief Nursing Officer and the Nursing Administrative Team.

Essential Functions

• Operations related to the implementation, delivery, and maintenance of the electronic medical record (EMR) as well as other patient care systems.
• Aids in the development and implementation of education associated with clinical use of the EMR for all disciplines using the EMR.
• Works with clinical departments to ensure clinical applications support quality care and regulatory compliance and serves as a liaison between clinical users and the Information Technology Department.
• Facilitates the build of new EMR applications as they are needed or requested.
• Serves as the Meaningful Use Coordinator for the facility and coordinates data collection for reporting as well as oversees the MU committee's functions and structure.
• Maintains good communication skills and effectively communicates with physicians, peers, patients, and families.
• Collaborates with all members of the healthcare team to ensure quality care is delivered.
• Participates in IT On Call rotation.

Education

• Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Current LPN license in the state of practice.
