Clinical Informaticist

For our client, we are seeking a Clinical Informaticist to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will shape how clinical data is structured, harmonized, and trusted across complex healthcare data environments. You will partner with technical teams and clinical stakeholders to translate interoperability standards into practical data models and improve the quality and usability of information flowing from multiple sources. The work will support more consistent analytics, stronger clinical data integrity, and better decision-making across the organization. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $119,000 – $179,000 annually Responsibilities Architect FHIR-compliant data models in line with implementation guides and architectural standards. Design and implement data harmonization strategies to unify data streams from EHRs and HIEs. Serve as a subject matter expert on clinical ontologies such as SNOMED CT and LOINC, and maintain custom value sets. Establish validation frameworks to ensure the integrity and accuracy of clinical data. Create clear documentation of data design requirements for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Professional certificate or master's degree in Clinical Informatics, or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical informatics or data integration within healthcare or life sciences. Proficiency in interoperability standards including HL7 v2, FHIR CDA/CCD-A, NCPDP, and data models such as FHIR R4/R5 and OMOP. Advanced skills in Python and SQL.
